January Google play system update

Just checked and finally got a play store update. Went from November to January.

Just to be clear, you're talking about the Google Play system update, right? Updates to the Play Store app itself are actually separate from that.

Most of my devices recently got the January Google Play system update as well, but oddly, my Pixel 7 Pro is still on November.

Yes. I swear I typed system and it probably auto corrected to store . Thanks for the clarification

I just tried the update. It restarted my phone and then knocked out all my customizations. When my phone restarted, it was in safe mode.

Are you talking about the Google Play system update or the monthly security update? There have been a bunch of reports of the January security update (the one pushed out by Samsung, not the Google Play system update that's pushed out by Google) causing various problems on the S24 and other Galaxy phones.

I pushed the google play system update. I was already on January security update.

So far only my wallpaper, quick menu, keyboard and icon packed changed. I went into goodlock to start my journey to fix everything,but I see it was updated. When did that happen? Could that be why I lost my customizations?

Possibly but I've heard members going into safe mode and things like you mentioned changed, I've never experienced it going into safe mode

Same thing happened to me except the customizations were there but I had to reapply everything.

I didn't even think to go into each module to reapply. I just went into the Goodluck app and saw that it was the newer version. I feel slower than usual today. Lol

Seems to make sense since safemode turns off 3rd party apps
