Ok, so I have Adobe Flash Player 11.1 sideloaded. Running the stock browser I can't play this video. What gives? I know I've played other flash content (had JB since it leaked...yes I know Flash isn't officially supported post 4.0.x). To add insult to injury it plays just fine on some coworker's iphone 4 and 5s lol. I thought iOS couldn't ever play flash? It's just a bare bones iphone 4/5 (I know...surprise). Can anyone else on JB play this video? Just a minor annoyance :)

Oh and don't mind the content lol. Pertains to a few coworkers. Monkey Cowboy's FTW:p

I'm fairly sure that's the apk I already have sideloaded, but I'll give it a shot. Any chance you tried to watch that video clip? Any idea how iOS is able to run it? Always thought that was a point that used to come up in fanboy warfare...

Couldn't tell ya to be honest, sorry :(

Plays on mine.

EDIT: In fact, I can't find any content that I think ought to be flash that doesn't work on my GN. And I didn't sideload Flash Player -- it's still here after I updated yesterday, and it "just works." Stock browser and Dolphin.

Plays on mine as well and I have never unlocked or rooted my phone. Just OTA JB.

^^^WTF lol. Let me see if a coworker running AOKP build 3 can play it. "Unfortunately" none of my coworkers with nexii are stock after playing with mine. Not even the dinosaurs ;) Any settings other than enable plug-ins? The N7 apk is the same one I had from XDA. Seems it's just this espn site. Weird.

Tested Youtube (not app) and it works fine, so it seems my phone doesn't like espn.

I'm really confused by all of this. Didn't JB break Flash Player on the GSM models? And weren't we supposed to get Chrome as the stock browser?

It's not officially supported but Google seems to have kept the stock browser on updated devices as a sort of wink/nod legacy support
