JB Google Search Bar - Changed?

I may have just never noticed... but today I noticed that my Droid RAZR M's JB Search Bar went from reading "Google" to only having the letter "g"..

Is this new?

Looks to be something on the branding side that was done with the RAZR update.

I know on AOSP (Galaxy Nexus) running 4.2.2 we still have the word ' Google '

You normally get the single "g" in the search bar when you perform a search in Google Now:

However, you appear to be on the Home screen?!
