I have a Samsung galaxy s3 and I was trying to upgrade the firmware to jelly bean 4.2 with odin v3.07 I followed all the instructions, put the phone in download mode and all that but it didn?t install the firmware and now my phone is just dead, it appears that it doesn?t have any OS at all, when I try to turn it on it just appears the battery charging but it doesn?t appear the percentage of it, it appears an empty battery like it has no charge at all, I put another battery with full charge and it does the same, I also connect it to the power outlet and the LED doesn?t even turn on, also when I connect it to the computer it doesn?t do anything, LED turned off, the screen black and it doesn?t do anything at all. I tried to put it on download mode again and even recovery mode but it just doesn?t do anything. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this and install again the OS?

What was the model number for the file that you tried to apply to your phone? Was it an International version?

Give us a link to the ROM you were trying to install. Since you're in the AT&T forum, I assume you do have an AT&T branded phone, right?

Yeah bro, you seem to have thought the international version was good for your phone and flashed it. It seems like you have a hard brick. Unless you were flashing a 4.2 aosp rom. If you did flash an international rom (19300) then you have no choice but to get fixed through samsung, carrier (att) or 3rd party luke mobiletech videos (highly recommended). Hope I helped.

I downloaded the file from here Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: I9300XXUFMB3_I9300OJKFMB3_ILO.zip and tried to install it with Odin v3.07

you bricked your phone. You flashed an international ROM to an ATT phone. The I9300O in the filename is a dead giveaway

Yeah, you need to always make sure that the ROM you are trying to flash is for the device you are flashing it to. Read, check your phone, then double check everything. If on doubt, ask on the forums.
