Here's a good topic of discussion....There's a pretty good assumption that we will have Jelly Bean on the infinity since Asus already is familiar with the code and in the past has been speedy with their updates. Now how long do you expect them to take? It took about what? A month for the Prime to get ICS? I expect around 3 weeks after the source is released that we'll see an update, how about science else?

Sounds about right. Some are suggesting it will come preloaded with it but I doubt that. In any case it will be pretty quick. Is one of the reasons I will go with the infinity over anything from Samsung.

I doubt it will be pre loaded....they're working to ship it right now, I don't think they'll take all their stock and then reflash the images. No, I expect that we'll see it quickly. I would be incredibly happy to load up my device for the first time though, and find an update to Jelly Bean

given asus' history, probably not long. the fact that they have had the code for some time now (thanks, nexus 7!) also should help speed things along

My thoughts exactly

Hopefully it will be "pure" Jelly Bean like the Nexus 7, without the un-installable ASUS bloatware. MFG's that install their own bloatware are fine with me, as long as the user can un-install it, which is NOT the case with the Infinity with ICS.

So we can't use flash at all on jelly bean? That might keep me from upgrading. I use flash all the time right now.

Flash doesn't exist on JB. There are a number of places on the net that talk about using it anyway but I believe you need to download it on a device that doesn't have JB and move it over or some workaround like that.

Sucks about JB not having Flash. I know that sites are moving away from flash, but there is still A LOT of web content that still uses it.

I'm sure someone will find a workaround though.

Anyone out there have any new updates on how long we'll be waiting for the update to come to the infinity??? I'm loving my new infinity but anxiously awaiting how much more i'll love it with jelly bean.

Using Jellybean on my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 makes me really miss it on the Infinity.

I'm hoping early September...but I'm checking several times a day for firmware updates.

I read that people were already getting roll outs on their TF300 last week so I can't imagine we're very far behind.

What are the biggest advantages of Jelly Bean. or what features are you most looking forward to having. dont have an transformer yet but hoping to get the 700 soon.

We need jelly bean so that the feature we'll enjoy is mainly butter :-D

Butter as in more stability and butter smoothness in UI

Better frame rate in OS
