Few things I noticed: a) the swipe up to activate Google Now from the lower left menu keeps is in line with the the way Google Now works on the Galaxy Nexus. It starts from a swipe up from the lower menu area on the Galaxy Nexus. b) Although the device is definitely moving faster, I have noticed that the launch of Google search is as slow as it is now on the Galaxy Nexus. c) Something I just happened to notice is that the stock Email exchange app on the tablet now has conversation capability. When you look at emails in a list, you see a little number in grey that shows the number of emails connected to a subject. Then when you click on the email, it brings up a window that shows all of the emails that are a part of the conversation. Definitely appreciate this.
I'm trying to find a listing of the new features and changes
Using ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T, Samsung Galaxy Nexus on T-Mobile, Sony Tablet S, and HTC Flyer.
Okay 2 new things I just noticed:
a) the stock email app not only groups by conversation and displays the total count, but it also shows a brief body of the 1st message. I'd prefer it either show the most recent unread or the latest because it's a bit harder to find the specific message you're looking for when you first look.
b) then in the settings, under sync options, they have now added the wonderful and long awaited feature of peak and off-peak times and days like HTC has. Perfect for me who hates to have the phone both wasting energy syncing when it doesn't need to and sending notification alert sounds when I'm sleeping.
Now if we could just set the email search to default search the local inbox instead of going out and web searching the server, which would make searching must faster.
