They are mainly 'under the hood' as in changes you can't really see, i.e. battery life improvements, etc...

I am curious as well. This is on sale at costco for 239. But 4.1.2. is outdated. My cellphone was 50 bucks on clearance at best buy so I had no choice. But if I'm buying a new device I need the latest. Or at least 4.3. 4.1.2 has built-in screenshots. But does not have reminders on lock screen. That is only 4.3.

Hard to say. Right now, I think Samsung has had their hands full with the Galaxy update.
