Well all I can tell you is that a notification appeared on my phones software update icon which I had put on my screen to make daily checks easier as a letter 'N'. I tried to update OTA but kept getting the message about the update being available in the order it was requested or similar. So connected to kies on my pc and it stated that a software update was available and hey ho it was 4.1.1.

palm sideways to phone (kungfu style), slide horizontally across screen. damn scots!
I have the update ready on kies but it wont let me update until I charge my battery....lol damn Samsung.
I've just updated my S3 to Jelly Bean but notice that the camera app is just the same as it was on ICS.
I don't have the new animation when taking photos and cannot swipe to the left to enter the gallery and have no filmstrip mode to allow for swipe up deletion of photos.
Is it just me or does the S3 jelly bean not have these new features??
Thanks for any help.
Do you have an unbranded phone? I just checked my phone and I didn't get the useual message no update available bit I got this View attachment 43207
