doesnt work on the v. system, data, and cache are not physically next to each other on the ov. which really sucks....
i started working on cm10 (didn't know anyone else was. seems like i'm always a day or two late to the party...) at about the same spot as tdm...
heres a link if anyone wants it. tdm will probably get it fixed in his before i figure out where to start. so watch his awesome work

OK what are bugs
Not booting probably plug into computer and boot
Take out extra stuff not needed
I ended up shrinking drews rom to 87.3 mb booted but no gapps of course
Also modify gapps this will help clear up extra space

Tdms doesn't boot plugged into computer either. I had it plugged in to run a logcat.

A lot of solutions, and just good ideas in general have come from non-dev users, so I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying to contribute. That's what forums are for, right?

i cant get it to compile.. a new error popped up and it doesnt even freaking tell me anything. im about to give up on this damn thing........... ugh.
never mind hopefully. thank god i didnt nuke my local jb directory when i found out i couldnt build on 32-bit...
Alright, definitely not stopping on this. I flashed the s version and wow. I just got a 35th wind. I have to get this going. Lol

No, it was an error right after I ran lunch about shared_libraries. I messed something up while modifying some files. I had the ones that worked on my CPU, and I uploaded those blobs to the server. I haven't tested yet, but I should be fine now. I'm sure I'll get that error soon though

I have it built but it's not booting. I'm not going to be looking into that very hard until I get ics on my marque and on the slider.
Glad to hear that you are working on it at least. I envy Opti S users right now lolIm also working on it. tdm is a step ahead of me, he has it compiled. tvall also has it compiled, his doesnt boot either.
I have updated the OP with a list of devs working on building from source. Anyone else, please let me know. I will update the OP with threads pertaining to WIP as they become available.
Actually, a guy on the S forums said he has a ZVD fix, which means, if it works, we SHOULD be able to use it.

Baseband changes are kernel and ril stuff, and maybe some build props. Shouldn't be hard to swap out.
Making mms work... thats rather involved.
