Jellybean?

They really EVER push out an update just to reach a deadline, search around on other forums a bit and you see that plan people have to wait longer than their deadlines to get an update.

People come to forums to complain, plain and simple. The people on the forums are the minority of the owners, what may be a thousand or two registers razr/maxx users out of hundreds of thousands who own the phone? And not everyone who comes here complains so that makes the people with issues a even smaller group.

Good stuff bud. I am looking forward to it. I've experienced JB on a friend's N7. It's all that for sure.

why dont you go root real quick and give it a shot? you wouldn't be doing anything that is not completely reversible. besides, having safestrap installed is like insurance against anything that can go wrong.

Where did you get that root from? Also what are you using to test the speed against other devices?

Hey, Braden... How is Google now on that build? Does it even work?

What I can say about the bugs and the like after ICS is that my battery life has decreased, and the phone freezing/restarting (sometimes) when switching to the gallery from the thumbnail in the camera UI. Besides those, I haven't noticed any other performance issues.

To elaborate on the battery life, while on GB, I was able to get around 30-35 hours on my rendition of normal usage. After updating to ICS, using the phone the same amount, I can only get 17-22 hours.

I think the problem most people on here that are complaining is that, even though compared to other phones out there, 20 hours of battery life is great, the Maxx should be getting above 30 hours on a single charge, and this ICS update is preventing that from happening. It is very annoying in my eyes since the phone's selling point is the battery.

I've easily gone 24 hours without a charge and had 20% battery left. I used the internet quite a bit and made a few phone calls. If you don't consider this usage to be acceptable and a selling point than your view is far different than mine. There is no reason to not charge each day. Most phones can barely make it 6 to 10 hours on a single charge.
