Hey everyone!

After been an iPhone Fan for many years my partner finally convinced me to jump ship and move over to Android 😀
Went on a bit of a shopping spree
Took me a while to decide which colour S20+ 5G to go for but finally settled on the Aura Red!
Absolutely LOVE the colour! Bought the matching Red Buds Live to go with it 😀
To finish my conversion I got the Tab S7 and a Samsung Smartwatch so definitely no moving back to apple now 😀

Any tips for someone new to android?

Welcome to the Green Side.

I hope you'll enjoy all your new Samsung devices.

Welcome to Android Central! So glad you have joined us, and what great devices you've purchased! In my own opinion, here are a few things you could do to get started with Android.

- don't do too much sorting through your Settings app at once - you may be overwhelmed
- download Zedge - it's a free ringtone/wallpaper/icon pack/modification app. I've been using it for years - it's awesome!
- if you are a fan of customization, once you've gotten the hang of Samsung's UI and your phone, download Good Lock and Theme Park. They have completely changed how I use my phone and I love the themes you can create all on your own!
- hang around here on the forums! The Samsung forum is really active, and so you'll always have someone available to answer questions or to give you feedback!

Hi and welcome to Android and to our forums. I love the look of your new phone. That red is gorgeous!! The features on a Samsung compared to an iPhone are phenomenal. It will take a while to learn how to use it all, but that is part of the fun.

You can also add a new look through launchers like nova launcher and Action launcher. Just put launcher into the Play Store app and you can try some out. They really change the way the phone looks and behaves.

The most important thing is to have fun. Try out Dex. It is a desktop experience and runs natively within your tablet and phone. You just need a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. And a monitor if you try it on your phone. If you use your tablet you don't need an external monitor.

Enjoy.
