Does the battery saving app Juice Defender truly help on the Nexus-S ? Or is it not even needed ?

No and no. Some people swear by it, but a lot of people, myself included, say stay away.

What crzycrkr said...it did not help my battery life and ended up crashing my phone on multiple occasions. Not worth the hassle.

DL'd for my wife's EVO, and it works like magic, nearly doubling her battery life: x1.8 or better.
Decided to try it for my NS4G with not nearly the same result. The best i've seen, according the app itself, was x1.1. Useless!

green power works better for the nexus s

Ok so it sounds like Juice Defender is not worth it anything on the Nexus-S ? But Green Power is the better battery saver ? The free version ok, or get the ultimate ?
