Juice Defender settings

So I decided to give this Juice Defender another shot and I am seeing an improvement. Problem is it keeps shutting my ringer off and I work on call. I keep missing calls and this isn't cool. Any ideas? I have only set the profile to balanced and changed nothing else.

I turned off my atk with ginger bread and instantly got better battery life. Someone else in this thread posted this so i tried it and she was right. My battery was worst with it on.

hey zmann. i tried to find this setting in the power settings with no luck. can you update on the sequence to turn it off/on. i am new to android so i might have just missed it.

I thought google wont let you turn on and off mobile data radios in Gingerbread unless youre rooting? Thats what is says in my settings menu of Juice Defender.

I saw that it said that as well but it still turns them off. I have to wait about 3 sec for it to connect to either WiFi or 3G when i wake up my phone.

Are you talking here about an app or the actual task manager that comes stock on the phone? I've read that turning off the native task manager improves battery life. Anyone know for sure one way or another?

Lol yes as it says in previous post someone told me turning it off improved battery, so i turned my off and I also noticed an improvement. I don't need it, i use juice defender.

I think menu>settings>applications>uncheck Start Automatically (Auto launch task manager after device startup). Can anyone verify that this is the correct setting to disable task manager? Also, when it says 'after device startup', does that apply to the phone just coming out of sleep mode or does it apply to only a long press on the power button, ie a full reboot?

Now my Wifi was on, but it happened twice today and in a place I never dropped calls. Is anyone else having issues with it shutting down calls?

Secondly, at 3am I have a program (dogcatcher) download podcasts and I was listening to one today that got cut off early...I went to the website to confirm that the podcast went on further. So that really blew...I wonder if it has to do with the 2am - 6am setting that I also have enabled? Just dont know why it would start only to shutdown during the download? Seems like similar issue to disconnect my call too.

Never once has juice defender interfered with any of my phone calls.

Did you have WiFi on? All of these issues started when I downloaded Juice Defender...today I had text issues, none of them were going out. Again might be coincidence but Im thinking not.

Been using it for a month now, wifi on, wifi off,, no issues with juice defender, none at all, no dropped calls, nothing, sorry.

I have had a similar issue where if I have JD on my Note 3 My call will connect then drop after about 30 seconds. I try resetting my phone and running in Safe ModeI had success on both accounts but as soon as I reinstalled JD my call drops began to reoccur. Any help would be appreciated.
