July 16 2.2 OS Release

Has anybody heard or seen a posting about a possible update to 2.2 on July 16? My friend who has the Incredible said it was in that forum but I couldn't find it.

only details the i have heard was that is was going to be relased shortly after the release of the x. who knows could be the 16th could be next year..lol ive heard early aug tho.

That is the release for the Original Droid most likely. They have already said the 2.2 update for Droid X won't come until late summer. Expect late August for us.

ive heard august as well....and maybe 2.2 in the other forum was referring to the original droid?

honestly, i dont wait it this quickly....since this is my first android, i'd like to play with 2.1 so that i can appreciate 2.2.

And to be honest I would rather them wait at least a month to put it out, so they can listen to all of our complaints and maybe (hopefully) try and fix some of them

I just hope none of it turns into a Droid 2.1 update fiasco...

Rumor has it the incredible is getting it on the 16th. I find it hard to.believe but who knows.
