Ok am I right saying that here in the UK on the July update we have the Night shot on the camera. I certainly have.
We had the night mode in the update at the beginning of July (11th)
This latest update seems to be security related and improved camera performance.
Which firmware update is that--CSF9 or CSGA? Both of those firmware updates have the July 1 security update, but they differ in their feature updates.Just received the July 1st patch a few minutes ago. VZW.

just got my update on VZW, CSGA. went into camera and see "Night" listed as an option on the screen now.
I'm on the US unlocked July no go .Lucky for you... at least it is there now. Only time will tell when unlocked models get them
Very strange how Samsung rolling this out for the camera night shotYup same here
Which July-security firmware--CSF9 or CSGA? CSGA has the camera night mode; CSF9 does not. (CSGA is a feature update; CSF9 is just a security update.)I'm on the US unlocked July no go .
It's their usual procedure for firmware updates. For a security update, the unlocked model sometimes gets it before the carrier models do. But for a feature update, Samsung waits for all carriers to test it before releasing it for the unlocked model. (The Exynos models are a separate matter; they often have slightly different features than Snapdragon models.)Very strange how Samsung rolling this out for the camera night shot
