I did. And switched back the next day.

I've just jumped off that ship, I only lasted a day though lol
I don't think I ever really wanted the G3. When I went to the store I wasn't even intending on upgrading but somehow the sales lady manged to get me to upgrade and we discussed the G3 as I already had the note 3. However after a few hours I just wasn't feeling the G3. Perhaps it's because I've used Samsung devices for the past 2.5 years. I returned it and swapped it for the S5 and I'm really glad I did.
The LG G3 is a nice phone, it just didn't offer me anything more than I had with my note 3. I didn't really see the difference with the 2K screen (actually think the S5 has a better screen). I got bored of knock on after a few hours. Besides those two features the LG didn't have much more going for it imo.
I suppose the S5's gimmicks appeal to me lol
I like the fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor. The Camera is awesome. I also like the new colours and the download booster and ultra power saving mode.
I also like to buy accessories for my phone and they were pretty scarce for the LG G3, but they are plentiful for the S5.
Also in the few hours I used the LG I ran into quite a few App incompatibility issues.
I also like the idea of there being a Samsung store close to where I live that I can just pop into if I need to.
I also plan on getting a Samsung tablet soon and if I get a smart watch it will be one of the gear/gear fit ones not an Android wear one.
So all in all Samsung made a compelling case for me to stay with them and LG didn't have much to offer me.
