Did you order? I’m trading in an S22 Ultra. Last year my husband and I had terrible loss to theft on phones sent to Samsung for one return and one trade. Empty boxes arrived to their destinations. Samsung accepted that my husband’s trade in was stolen but not my defective return. I’m honestly a bit nervous trying to mail in a trade again.Tuesday we can order the 12.Hope for good trade values.
Same thing with me twice last year I sent back a fold 5 return box was empty lucky for me samsung made it good.Did you order? I’m trading in an S22 Ultra. I’m pwm sensitive so I’m hoping this phone’s special display settings will help me with that. The phones I currently have will give me headaches and eye strain if I don’t ration my screen time.
Oh goodness that’s awful. My iPhone trades have been okay so far. Yea, FedEx was the problem and I did get a video of my defective return package being opened. I wasn’t able to dispute it because I foolishly listened to my husband when he said I don’t need to make a video because it doesn’t prove I simply don’t remove the phone from the box just like the thief did. But now I have security tape to seal the package.Same thing with me twice last year I sent back a fold 5 return box was empty lucky for me samsung made it good.
Did samsung send you their video when they unbox it? I saw that was even same tape I used on box.
Other deal was apple deal same empty box.
All fed ex all returned via same fed ex store and same clerk....
No I never go in that store again.
Oh one plus 12 I didnt .
WOOT had the razr + for 549, so I am trying it again.
Looks like it may not be a keeper just had a crash of some sort phone shut off, I had to plug charger in to get it going battery was at 30 percent odd.
Yep one of the things that stops me now with them is the updates.. also I used to like the old OnePlus UI... And the cameras take some great pics but I feel like they're still lacking in some areas...I've never owned a OnePlus device before, but the 12 is very intriguing! They certainly don't seem to have a "mainstream" following ... Seems they've had some issues in the past with timely software updates and updates wrecking havoc.
Out of the gate, the 12 is definitely getting some high praise!
I just want better battery life ... My P8P is pretty abysmal for my use (especially compared to when I had the S23U with similar usage and apps).Yep one of the things that stops me now with them is the updates.. also I used to like the old OnePlus UI... I think I'm at the point where I can wait for an update as long as what I am running is stable and provides good battery life.
Camera is important too, but the world of Android seems to be down to either Google or Samsung and I been down the Samsung camera path many times. From what I've been watching and reading about the OnePlus 12 it looks as if it may handle motion pics better than Samsung but, like you said, it seems to lack in other areas.
Yeah, weekdays I have two phones as I'm primarily using my work issued iPhone. On my P8P I will text the wife and kids occasionally, maybe check emails here and there and my 8 Pro battery drain just seems unacceptable for sitting in my pocket all day. I have 5G disabled, several apps set to restricted and background data off, played with adaptive connectivity both on and off ... nothing seems to help. The phone is usually off the charger at 5am I typically need to top off by 5-6pm with 1-2 hours screen time, if that, even with several things disabled/dumbed down.I know you and the photos are important..P8P for me battery has been better no issues but I do carry two phones daily so I'm probably not the right person for testing endurance.. OnePlus has improved greatly in the camera area I just think low light and video might be so-so in some situations but I'd like to test it myself to see
Hmm something definitely not right ...I can get good standby with it ..I also carry an iPhone along with the P8P or Pixel Fold depending on the mood and week ...I use my Android side for all social and browsing ..both phones for call and text ...I use Google Music and never have to charge till late evening or overnightYeah, weekdays I have two phones as I'm primarily using my work issued iPhone. Yeah, I even factory reset and set up clean not too long ago with no luck.Hmm something definitely not right ...I can get good standby with it ..I also carry an iPhone along with the P8P or Pixel Fold depending on the mood and week ...I use my Android side for all social and browsing ..both phones for call and text ...I use Google Music and never have to charge till late evening or overnight
Is the area where you frequent bad reception? The only other thing I can think of is itYeah, I even factory reset and set up clean not too long ago with no luck.
No ... Usually I have a solid signal (LTE or 5G)Is the area where you frequent bad reception? The only other thing I can think of is it

Nothing seems out of sorts in battery usage stats ... Anything that was at the top of the list I've been restricting and disabling background data. The only thing I can think of is a rouge app running in the background. I've forgotten my phone at home and never had idle drain anywhere close to that.
