Can I give you a suggestion SEKELANI. I would put the phone into recovery mode. ( I think its up volume button, home and power at the same time when off ) do a factory reset and see if that helps. Yes you will have to set everything back up again but that should help. Also try tweaking your settings after that. Did you get software update when you received the phone?

Yeah i did. The guy at samsung helped me set up my device in stores and showed me eveything. This phone is 1 day old so it shouldnt be giving me issues already

I keep seeing these posts about battery life being horrible and my experience has been complete opposite. It's not amazing where it lasts for days but it's good enough I never worry about plugging it in during the day...

As of now I've been on battery 7h 54m, screen on 3h 4m, wifi/bluetooth on for probably 6 of those hours(at work) and I'm at 76% battery. This on Verizon.

Hopefully there is a software update or better information on why certain people are having such bad luck with battery life.

Almost all of the smart phones are suffering from same issue of less backup time. One such reason is the use of heavy apps that use to run on the phone and keep on using the processing power along with the battery of the mobile.

I preordered my S6 Edge from Best Buy. got it on 4/10. Came home and charged the battrery full by about 3pm. about 5 pm I was at about 30% left. I was exploring and setting up the phone during that 2 hour period. Recharged and decided to keep screen off and just check the power level every hour. After 4 hours the phone had 5% battery left - WITHOUT EVEN USING IT. Repeated the test tne next day and it did the same thing. Took it back to best Buy that evening and returned it. I liked the phone in what little time I had it. I decided that I would wait for the gold S6 to be available and I will try again with that phone. Unless I see significant better battery life I will return the gold one and just keep using my M7.

wow 2 days?!?! Did you check the battery settings and see what is using up the battery?? Did you try the new Samsung Push update??

I have over 200 apps installed and my battery gets me through a day of work, no problem.
