Good morning. Just bought the Atrix 4G last night (switching from iPhone 3GS) and I love certain features of the Droid idea especially the notification of E-mails and texts. Much less obtrusive; yet still gets the point across.

Any how, I've noticed that while playing 2 games (Angry Birds) and (Words with friends) that the color on the games are completely off and actually look close to "awful". The yellows appear to be missing or nearly missing. The colors do not pop and are not vibrant. Could this be an issue of the protection screen that ATT
sold me? I don't remember noticing that in the store looking at the display.

Anyone else notice this? If this is what the Atrix is designed to look like, I very well could be going back to my iPhone..

I have read on this forum that applying the anti glare - screen protector makes the display not to appealing... I honestly would prefer crappy images vs fingerprints and sweat on the screen.but then again everyone has a preference...

I agree, the cheap screen protector that ATT sold me is pretty awful. However, after removing I notice that the yellows in particular are faded. I would call the angry birds one like a gold color on iphone and a oil oil color on Atrix. I will look at putting a different protector and completely agree that the finger prints and sweat is not an attractive option. Don't want to feel like I'm settling for something either!

A lot of people have noticed the issue you are talking. Compare a color chart on your phone and on another screen and you will see it. It's not a big deal to most, but if it really bothers you then I suggest you get rid of it. Some may say, "oh it can be fixed with an update." Truth is we don't know, it may be as intended, and/or motorola has never said such an update would come.

Ive been through many different Androids and the only one better then this one was the Galaxy S with the Super Amoled display. Other then that, I dont notice the colors off in anyway. I think the screen is fantastic. Plus, you got Gorilla Glass. So really you dont need those screen protectors. Just wipe off the fingerprints when they come about. No big deal.

I just got my Atrix today, and perhaps it depends if you're using a screen protector ?

I got the AT&T's screen protector, and it's pretty much like layering fresnelled paper on it. Going to get it off soon.
