After a long consideration, since I came across a good deal, got a black google pixel. Tried all sorts of android phones including G5, Sony Xperia X performance, Moto Z and didn't like any of them and keep going back to my beloved BB Dtek50. Mainly due to the hub and other bb goodies. Let's see how this one goes.

Quick question - whats the purpose of the little adapter that comes with the box USB to USB-C? Where would you use that?

That cable can be used to transfer files between your phone and computer.

You can also plug in a thumb drive and load files onto your phone or keep movies and or music. On it since the pixel doesn't offer SD storage

Thanks. Can I also use a regular USB C charger and cable to charge the phone? Would it still fast charge the phone?

Haven't set it up yet. Biggest worry is how BlackBerry Hub will work. It wasn't that good on g5 - again I don't think it'll ever work as good as it does on dtek50. I don't think I can be without hub on a phone. Fingers crossed!!

Not sure about that as I just use the quick charge cable that was included with the phone as I didn't want to chance anything

I use that same cable that came with my 6P for Android auto since my cars input is USB and not USB c

Does anyone uses BlackBerry Hub on pixel? How does it work? I need something where I can read my email, text and whatsapp in one place

Decided to check it out myself... So far I like it! I think you should just DL and give it a try

Yes ..that's the first thing I did. It's OK so far. The WhatsApp integration isn't the best. When you tap in a WhatsApp message instead of taking directly to the message it takes to the WhatsApp app. It works fine on dtek. I guess you can't expect these features as a BlackBerry
