i was trying to un root it so i could get the new update this week. now the screen wont come on and i cant get it into recovery either. any ideas?

thats the exact video i used to unroot my phone..which didnt work. it still turns on but the screen wont come on. the buttons at the bottom light up and it will still vibrate when i receive a text message.

Sounds to me like the actual screen was fried. If you can verify that it vibrates when you get a text or call, then the OS is fully loaded and running. Take it to Verizon and get a replacement- no way for them to tell it was rooted

are you fully charged? i say that cuz i too have just unrooted and went through a series of problems. while youre in hboot/fastboot or recovery the phone fails to charge properly. i went dead fast cuz the processor is working hard at that time plus not charging. anyway, im sure you checked that but just a thought. i was only able to get to hboot/fastboot screen and thats it. now im back to stock froyo after some great help. keep us posted
