Just changed SIM card to T-Mobile on a Verizon Galaxy S4. Can receive texts but cannot texts.

Just changed to T-Mobile from Verizon and decided to keep our sons galaxy s4 as we had insurance with Verizon and it was recently replaced. He is away at school so tmobile mailed him a sims card he changed it today and had to do a couple things to his phone as directed by T-Mobile rep...He now realizes he can receive texts but not send them. Hoping you have a suggestion.

Did you change the apn to what tmobile gave you?

Also change the mode to gsm?

Hey I just had my son the MODE and it worked for 2 texts then NOW doesn't work again. Any other suggestions?

Had him change mode to gsm and it worked he was able to send 2 texts and then it stopped working again. He did change apn to what T-Mobile rep told him to. had him check to see if MODE stayed on gsm and it did but as I said stopped working.

The texts will not work. It is a know issue. Only Internet and calls will. Work. Texts will come in but won't go. Out
