Just dawned on me....This phone never gets warm or hot!

Have had my N8 for almost 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. And all of a sudden it just dawned on me that this phone never really gets warm or anywhere near hot. Even when running video, tons of apps, wireless charging, etc. Previously coming from an S7E which would get really warm when running a lot of applications or sometimes down right hot in some instances. (my 2 recalled N7's would get kind of warm here and there).

It's one of those things you don't realize until you remember how warm/hot your other phones would get. Anyone else's N8 running smooth and cool?

I've had my note8 a month today and I think mine has gotten a little warm once or twice after being on wireless charge. But that is it.

Not been hot or warm, mostly cold when I pick it up and do some bits and pieces.
One thing I have noticed when I'm taking a call, EVERY other phone I've had, I've managed to switch something on/off with my ear during the call, Wi-Fi, data etc.. but with this phone, I've not done it once since I had it 3 weeks ago.
Weird stat but interesting find lol.

I will have had my Note 8 for one month as of OCT 7. I am also loving my phone to bits. I haven't experienced any overheating. This thing is a beast.

I'm obsessed with my Note 8. So happy I sent my iPhone 6s plus back to Verizon for this!! Mine rarely gets warm. What's the norm temp for phones anyway? I have a battery widget that tells me my temp but how hot is too hot anyway?

Haven't looked back after retiring my iPhone 6s plus! Occasionally my Note would get a little warm when fast charging. Through daily use and not hugging an AC outlet this amazing piece of kit stays cool!

My N8 only got a tiny bit warm during initial setup but nowhere near as warm as my N4 when it got major updates or lots of Play Store updates- it would actually get HOT.

Same here. Hardly ever warm. What a contrast with the S8+ which would get up to 117 (F) when doing navigation and playing music. In fact, the S8+ would stop charging when it got that hot.

Mine never gets warm either except on the wireless charger I just got as the freebie. It is usually at 81 degrees F when plugged in but it hit 102 on the charger.

Lol that's a good question for someone that likes the note8 one day and says he would get rid of it if he could the next day

same. Even when using Facebook messenger and Uber at the same time. My old phone, the Moto X pure. Would get very hot when I would do this my note 8 has not since I've had it and it's been about a month.
