I've had it longer than the 15 days although only been using it 2 weeks as it was a birthday present and my family made me wait lol just noticed a stuck pixel, also get that horizontal line flash some people mention. Please tell me what would you do in my situation? I am in the UK and bought it online from ebuyer .

I wouldn't be sure that a single stuck pixel is sufficient to return it, but what you want to do is contact ebuyer customer support and ask them, they'll tell you if it is sufficient to warrant a replacement. And the horizontal line flash I think is probably normal, I've noticed it on mine, albeit infrequently, maybe it is a bug in the GPU driver or graphics system, I wouldn't worry about that unless you're seeing it all the time.

When I spoke to Google on the phone about replacing my original device they said that manufacture defects are covered for the first year. Also I believe the screen is covered by Asus. Read the warranty guide that came in the book and call Google.

I found a single dead pixel in about a week, that wasn't there before for sure. I'd return it because I'm a little ocd about having dead pixels. lol

It's definitely sufficient in my opinion. Luckily I bought it b&m, so I can return it within the proper time period if there are issues.

Some years ago when I bought my netbook, there needed to be four or more dead pixels to warrant a replacement, that is why I questioned whether one is sufficient to get a replacement. Now I don't recall there being any note when buying mine that a certain number of dead pixels were acceptable, so just one may be sufficient, but that is why I said to contact ebuyer customer support about it, since that is who it was bought from that is who it should be returned through, so they'll need to be contacted about returning it anyway.

Thanks everyone. I didn't think of reading the warranty, sometimes the answer is too obvious! I don't want the hassle of sending it back especially as some people have worse problems I don't want to risk getting something like a lift in screen. Will see how it goes and dig out the warranty info :D

I'll try that and see if I notice a difference, thank you
