Just got a CR-48

The keyboard features a row of Chrome OS-specific function keys. The OS allows for multiple browsing windows (standard or incognito), and you can alt-tab through them. You can also control-tab through the tabs open in the current window.

@diverbelow As for the SSD, I'm not sure. I can't pull up any sort of system specs setting or whatnot.

So these Chrome OS netbooks have a 16G SSD in them. Picture 18

UPS just rang my doorbell and lo and behold it was a CR-48!! Was not expecting it as I didn't receive an email either. I did apply during the webcast when he showed the QR code. I paused the stream and scanned it with my EVO and to my surprise it opened up the registration page for one!

Yeah me too. I'm imagining joe-shmoes getting it instead of someone who can appreciate it like me or most people on this site, and complaining about it and/or never using it :'(

Lol yea I think anyone on this site could appreciate the device more than most people. It's open until the 21 so that's some ray of sunshine because if it was first come first serve the wouldn't have put a final date, just cut it off abruptly.

If it makes you feel any better. I also registered yesterday, and doubt I will get one. :(

For the people that have received their Chrome Notebook are you all located on the West Coast by any chance?

I am in northern Ohio and I received mine yesterday. I didn't even sign up for this program I took a quiz on Google Chrome's facebook page and low and behold my Cr-48 arrived yesterday. I cannot believe how fast and smooth it is. Video playback could use some work but other than that I could see this being an amazing OS by the time it is ready for mass release.

I used that tracker and there are 3 coming to my area:)
