AC Question

I use a number of different email accounts, 2 gmail, 1 yahoo and 1 hotmail and I'm coming from a Note 3 which has a built in "email" app, NOT the "gmail" app. I can't seem to find this here and would prefer a client that I can use all.

Any suggestions on the email app or something else ? Thanks!

The 6P only comes with Gmail. You can configure gmail to work with the accounts you listed. Just use the add account function in the app and it will go through the setup procedure.

I downloaded Blue Mail from the play store, very customiseable, very good.

The last time I used myMail and Blue Mail, attachments had to be downloaded before forwarding with an email. To me, that was a big issue. Most email programs forward with the attachment on the server end. I do not want all of those attachments downloaded to my phone. Perhaps they have updated the apps since I used them.

For exchange, nothing beats Nine. Too bad it does not handle Gmail.

Gmail is okay. Its functionality for combining inboxes is not that great, I hate how attachments are always at the bottom of the email chain and how it handles relies without maintaining html header format. Those are all really business concerns for me, since that is mainly how I use my phone. The native apps from Samsung, HTC and LG all handle these issues much better than Gmail.

Gmail update now has Gmailify. It links you email to your Gmail. It's just released today

I was confused by this too when I first got the phone. Ya, Gmail is all email accounts now.

For Office365/Exchange users the best client is Nine

For other accounts I prefer Mailwise or the Gmail app.
