Thanks for the info jkurl. And just to make sure I'm thinking correctly there are two versions of CM because the radios are different. That should be the only difference right? Would you be able to swap radios? Is something like that possible?

I am not sure for swapping the radio's as I haven't gotten CM7 on my tab yet. You might want to ask tech on that thread or Julian lo as they both are on top of things.

@NewAge apparently the person making rom says you can't install it via CWM. I think it is bs as cwm will install roms. Now the version might not be actually able but if it is CWM 3.0 then you will be able. If you install the CWM from his thread please let me know what that version is and what it can do. I am curious to see what the difference is. I think it is the same version I have on my tab which is version 3. I am betting that Rom can be installed via CWM.

I'm a bit turned off by my wifi issues. After some searching my only real solution has been having to use a static ip, which is ok, but I'm curious to see if I will be able to connect at school? Or have the same issues of not being able to gain IP address. Looks like there are a few people with the same issue. Surprised I haven't seen any threads here. At least the search didn't find anything. Hopefully its just my router.

No problems here....you could always use the Wireless Tether from your DX when theres no other connection available. I do it all the time...the speeds are not that bad.

I tethered just to make sure everything was good and it was great! At home though I would prefer my expensive cable connection with better speeds. I suppose for browsing it would be fine and outisde of home I will be tethering often. At least once my month is up or 1 gb.

Well I couldn't wait any longer so I rooted with z4root (so easy), loaded the Voodoo kernal and am about to ninja morph this thing.

I wish there was an easy overclock app. I'm half tempted to try the DX/2 overclocker but am a bit chicken.

Is the kernal the only way to OC? No way to do scripts with terminal unless the ROM Supports it right? And none of those yet.

If you have the sprint tab give bauxites kernel a try. It is a OC kernel. If you have the vzw tab there is one in the works.

Yeah I'm VZW. Looks like I'll have to wait a bit. I don't want a kernal OC'd unless it has profiles. So I can change the clock speed and voltage at certain parameters. I don't think kernals can do that right?
