It looks like you were trying to say, how to get more THAN 3 apps on my home page, sarcasm? If not you may need to turn something off in Accessibility settings.

Anyway there are a couple of ways to get smaller icons. Changing the home screen grid size will change the app icon size. Going from a 4x6 layout to a 6x6 or 7x7. I'm pretty sure you can get more options for grid size using GoodLock HomeUp. As for the other way, I'm not 100% that this still works, but you used to be able to change the screen resolution and see some size bumps.

Long press an empty page on the home screen then at the bottom select home screen settings usually bottom right then that menu will take you to home screen grid
