So we just replaced our on-call phone. It was a Nexus S 4G. Set it up...all good to go. Downhill from there. The battery was draining at a fast rate. I turned off or down a few things (brightness, motion, NFC). Still drained and the bottom of the phone (back bottom) was getting rather warm. Got home and charged it. It charged to 75% before I decided to turn it off to cool it off since it was still rather warm. When I turned it back on about an hour later, the battery was down to 55% and still warm, but not as warm as before. I used it for a little bit and it went down to 45% left. I just decided to take out the battery and put it back in. When it powered back up, battery was down to 17%. It was off just for a power cycle and it lost that much charge?
Needless to say, it didn't last the night and I plugged it in to charge when I got to work. It's been plugged in for over an hour charging. It'll turn on, but won't stay on. Just powers back off once it gets to the main screen and back to the battery charging screen. Needless to say, not a good first impressions.
All companies make lemons from time to time. I am going to replace it and see what happens.
