Just got an update...but not 2.3

this is the second time in a month my HTC EVO 4g has had a massave update that rebooted my phone..but still no 2.3!!! just wondering if anyone know if the last 2 updates had anything new thanks

I'm not aware of an OTA gingerbread update for the Evo anytime soon.

Go for CM7...2.3.4 gingerbread with google voice and video chat.

Are you serious? This is bs. Update has been out since January, so why is HTC *****footing around? Never buying another HTC device again because these guys can't do anything right seems like.

The last major software(3.70.651.1) my Evo4G had was in Dec of 2010

along with a couple of PRL updates.

None has made my phone do reboots,etc.

So to the op what is the software version # you are talking about?

OP, did you just buy an Evo? I'm asking because the last update for it was back in December as another poster said.

This is an old OTA that you never got because sometimes it takes awhile to push out for some people if you don't do a software upgrade check. It takes a long time for a reason, that's alot of data to be pushed out and strain the network if it was all at once.
