Does anyone know what they updated or have a link to the change log? I would've thought they would have updated to a newer Security version but I'm still on May 1st after this update.

Try updating again. You just got AQEF, the previous version, so you must've been two versions behind. The current one is AQF7, with June security and kernel. You can find the release notes on AT&T's site.

You may have an issue. It depends if the update is unlocked or via at&t, do some digging on sammobile and have a look at firmware. You can find yours out by doing *#1234# in phone dialer.
In UK I had this, got an unlocked phone but took to a different network. Thankfully, I was ok because my phone is BTU which means I don't get updates via a carrier but from Samsung. Don't know what the equivalent is where you are but with some digging you can find out.

I've noticed that the notifications bar is dimmer after the update, no matter how bright my screen is. It's quite noticeable.
You're right I was 2 behind for some reason. I checked again and got to the latest version.

You might need an att sim to get updates. Seems many of the updates won't show up if you don't have an att sim in.
