Just got an update on my DNA, its updating now.

Is anyone else having Wi-Fi issues after this update? The Wi-Fi connection in my house is dropping occasionally. Not that big of a deal but I'm noticing this happening when it never happened before.

The real issue is when I wake the phone up. The Wi-Fi is not staying connected when the phone is asleep even though I have that option checked in the Wi-Fi options. I try to use my phone and end up having to wait for it to find my Wi-Fi signal. This only started immediately after this update.

Anyone else getting this?

Mine said I got an update last night. Then it rebooted and now it says uptodate. Wtf! Weird thing that also happened. It turned off nova launcher.

But what happened to the update? My phone told me I had an update available, then it power cycled. Turned off nova. And now it says no update available. Wth happened?

Much, MUCH better battery life after the update. Very noticeable change and very welcome.

Sadly though, for the first time ever Runkeeper struggled to lock in GPS last bike ride. Will monitor on tomorrow's ride and will let everyone know if it happens again.

I am going to agree with you. Lately battery life was dismal. I couldnt get through the day without having to charge it. Post update, I am on my phone which i havent charged at all today and it still has 32% battery after 12+ hours of running on battery

I would have to disagree about improved battery life. I see no difference. I am traveling in the outskirts of civilization and the DNA is struggling to maintain contact. Battery is working overtime and is being recharged during the day.

In the comfort of 4G society I am seeing no difference

My battery life has gone completely down the tubes since the update. Before I frequently went 2 days before charging, now I barely make 12 hours before phone goes completely dead. Guess I'm in for an FDR. Ugh.....

Start with a few reboots at least. Over a few days......

Battery life has been the same for me. I unplug the phone around 6:30 am. Come 10:00 it's either at 95-96% or it's between 80-85%...totally random. One day I'll take the time to figure out the problem but this phone has been great for me.

I read that HTC said 4.2.2 will be released closer to end of year (December). I wonder why the big delay and its still only 4.2.2. Update info was already leaked on Verizon's site in September and then it was taken off site. This phone is so great even without update. I rarely have any issues.

I haven't accepted the update yet. Most of you have now lived with it for a couple weeks, but is there any reason not to accept it (bugs, performance issues, battery drain)? Thanks.

The phone does not feel any different to me.

I keep refusing this update, I don't see a reason to gamble with possible battery or gps issues when my phone still has the no SIM card issue

I had the sim card issue and it started getting pretty bad and I took someones suggestion of putting two pieces of clear/scotch tape on it to make it a tighter fit and it worked. I haven't had the sim card issues since.
