Just got my black S-View Cover... very very nice. Classy too.

How do you get things to show up in the window and is it touch screen. I got one off ebay and actually pretty nice but could not figure out how to make camera and other settings show up in the window. Also the window is kinda hard plastic is that the way yours is. Can you touch the screen

I think you need to have the 'official' s-view cover for the s-view to come up. Also, it is touch screen, both my finger and the spen works.

Like others mentioned, its a very high quality cover/case. I hated the flip cover on the N2, but this one is above and beyond both in quality and functionality. I love how when I lay my phone down, the flip stays closed. The fit and finish is absolutely first rate.

I have mine on order in white. 25% discount also. I see this being a rare exception to paying such a high cost for a case.

I was supposed to receive mine today as I ordered it yesterday with overnight shipping. I'm heading out of town Monday. But... it didn't ship until today and arrives Monday. At least Verizon refunded the overnight shipping cost when I called them.

Or. Just go to your local T-mobile store; they have them there in stock. But i would call first. I think they are selling fast.

All the T-mobile stores near me had them.

I'll go around to all of the carrier stores tomorrow. I hope that I find it at AT&T because I know that I will get a discount there.

Since you own one, I'd like to ask a few questions about it, if I may.

1) Is the window on the front made of some transparent material? That is, is there something there to protect the screen? (I hope the answer is yes.)
2) Does the inside front cover have any credit card slots or the like? (I think the answer is no for Samsung's cover, but other makers of similar ones might.)
3) How is it using the camera with the cover open? Folding it all the way back, like you would for some uses, would mean photographing through the front window, which doesn't seem good. But leaving it flap open could make it a bit harder to hold the device to take a good picture. I've read that you can take shots with the cover closed because of some feature of the phone that the cover activates (I think), but if you want the cover open for some reason, is it easy enough to take pictures?

There might be more things I was wondering about, but I think those three are the primary ones. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

#1 Yes
#2 No
#3 I take pictures with the cover closed. However the pictures are square cropped. I dont think taking pictures with the cover open is that hard. I just let it hang below the phone.

The thing that worries me about the S View covers is that they only protect one side of the phone.

Nexuscillin. The cure for iOS.

The back side is the S View Cover, so if that gets damaged you can just get a new S View Cover. This is assuming that the back side is the side that you are saying will remain unprotected.

No, I was actually talking about the top and side edges (where the ports and buttons are).

Yep got mine moments ago at t mobile and love it. Works great and looks good. Very classy looking. I ordered one from Verizon as well but going to refuse that when arrive sometimes next week. Be warned don't one off of ebay. I did for ten bucks and did not work the s view window

The black S-View Cover has the same feel and texture (including simulated stitching on the front and back). Bonus for Verizon N3'ers.... you get rid of the Verizon Logo that comes on the original cover.

Samsung Logo is Embossed... Verizon went with print. Much nicer Samsung!

Doesnt add much thickness to the phone.... think I will be cancelling my glass screen protector.

That really is nice looking I just don't care for how the silver trim is so unprotected against dings, scratches, and knicks.

The trim is actually protected more than expected

Its not for everyone... but if it satisfies your protection needs... its hard to beat.

I may get a otterboxish type case, for when I will be in a situation that demands it. But for everyday situations that I am in, the S-View works for me. Love the features.

Did they finally release the Defender for the Note3?
