Just got my Captivate

Just curious about something bothering me, under my files, should that be empty as soon as I turn it on?

It says, internal SD card, but that is the phones memory right?

You have 16gb of built-in storage which is the internal SD chip.

should anything be in there though? There are a ton of files in there and I just wanted to make sure before I started deleting things. There was all types of music in the music folder like 25 complete albums, of crap music. I deleted that, nothing else seems to be effected. I just wanted to make sure what I can and cant delete from the "My Files" folder

Your operating system is there. If you start randomly deleting files, you will brick your phone.

Music, photos, and videos can go. However, be careful not to delete the ringtones you use,

Yeah, cause my internal SD card was just about blank when I picked my Cappy up new.

Hopefully you got something worth keeping.

Agreed ...mine was too. Where did you get this phone at? Was it an authorized retailer??
