My wife is still using the OG Evo. She won't change. I tried to get her the One but NOOOOOOO! She says she likes her phone the way it is. I'm still prying her though. Next, I'm going to sabotage her phone making god awful to use so she'll be begging me for a new phone! Then the One it is!!

The og Eco is still a awesome phone for non techies, I see them all the time as well. Shows how good the phone holds up to be 3 years old and still being used.

Same here. I traded the S3 for the One and loved it. BUT I also loved the S3 and figured I'd love the S4 so I traded the One for the S4. It was a huge mistake. I couldn't stand it for some reason. So what I did was, I paid Sprint 50 bucks to give me an early upgrade and got the Stealth black One and gave the S4 to my daughter who just broke her Photon Q. So it worked out perfect.

Wife says she is going to have to bury me with the One in my hands cause I won't put it down. She also wants me to figure out how to have an affair with it so we can have..."little One's"!! lol

I was playing with it in the ATT store and it as just so cheap feeling and it stuttered and lagged, a lot.

Congrats and welcome to the fold! I was showing mine off to a neighbor earlier today and he was really impressed. He's not big into tech but he said that he recognized it due to the "speakers in the front" and the "cool looks of the phone". I'm just glad that HTC is reaching the non-techie market, because those of us on AC make up a minority compared to the average joe.

Well I made the plunge. Bought the black One today.

Even though I've played with the display ones for about a month it's just wow factor right now.

I was hesitate because I wasn't sure it was enough of an upgrade from my EVO... I was wrong. Paid full price and totally worth it

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth selling my maxx HD on Verizon and just buying it outright. Only thing stopping me is my contract is not up until late 2014 and I don't want my parents to pay for a line no one is using. We will see after my first paycheck of the summer I suppose.

It's my first one as well. Liked it and Android so much, that I gave the iPad the boot as well. Had it out of the Incipio Feather case today and was amazed again what a beautiful phone it is. It's a feeling that usually only Apple could instill. Finally there is a worthy competitor. Enjoy the phone and welcome.

I'm sort of surprised to keep reading this. I had an SGS3 for about 3 months before I sold it, and I found it to be pretty snappy for an android phone. Buy I've read so many complaints about lag on the sgs4. I'm thrilled with my HTC one fortunately. except for just one or two apps, its just as snappy as my old iPhone was.
