Just got my HTC One!

Re: Just go my HTC One!

Congrats and welcome to the fold! I was showing mine off to a neighbor earlier today and he was really impressed. He's not big into tech but he said that he recognized it due to the "speakers in the front" and the "cool looks of the phone". I'm just glad that HTC is reaching the non-techie market, because those of us on AC make up a minority compared to the average joe.

Back on topic: I hope you enjoy your new toy! Feel free to PM me or post here if you have any questions!

I agree HTC has really made this phone go mainstream. Thank you! I will!

I always roll with no case except when at work. Need a case with holster for work.

I always take mine off at home. This phone is just too beautiful.

Re: Just go my HTC One!

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth selling my maxx HD on Verizon and just buying it outright. Only thing stopping me is my contract is not up until late 2014 and I don't want my parents to pay for a line no one is using. We will see after my first paycheck of the summer I suppose.

I think it is totally worth it! Just pay the ETF and switch to ATT, sprint or T-Mobile and buy it in contract! That is what I did.

You'll be changing carriers, right? Because the One isn't on Verizon.

You're correct, I would be switching carriers. I would pay the ETF and switch off my parents plan.

Just got mine last Thur and love it also. Retired my old iphone 4 in the process. Still trying to learn all the features--don't mind it at all.

Just a little follow up. This phone is still as amazing as the day I bought it. I am running a custom ROM now and it makes this all ready blazingly fast phone even faster.

Me too, Got it yesterday and am loving it for so many reasons. The One makes the iPhone 4 look really dated. Great upgrade!

I tell my associates, I'm carrying a computer in my pocket. I don't think they believe me@ first, till I use it.

We did the same thing, around the same time ha ha.

I got all my friends and family on iPhones years ago. Now they are all freaked out because I up and swapped to Droid lol. I just couldnt stand using iOS any longer so the iPhone 5 was a no go. Coming from an iPhone I was accustomed to high build quality, so when I was phone hunting it was difficult to get something up to par...until I found this thing.

Being new to android I appreciate the polish HTC Sense puts on the droid "ecosystem". I fell in love with how awesome how fast this thing is, how many apps it can multitask, and how quick I can open the camera and snap pictures. Not to mention the relief I had when I discovered I can drag and drop my iTunes on this thing like a jump drive and they work beautifully.

Same here. I upgraded my wife's old iphone 3 to the 4S while semi-retiring my ip4 (use only when going to Europe since it's unlocked). I still use icloud via my HTC to link my calendar with my wife. Relatives are using iphones and don't know I've made the switch either. :)
