Check your screen and make sure it is uniform. Lots of Samsung OLEDs have area(s) of pink and areas of yellow/warmer tones. White backgrounds and the WhatsApp chat background are the easiest to test with. No screen will be perfect but make sure yours isn't really bad.
Make sure your Doze is working properly - you should lose less than 5% over night at most. Check all functions (Speakers, bluetooth, headphone jack, make some phone calls, etc.) Get a speed test app to make sure you're getting expected WiFi speeds. Test that both cameras autofocus and the rear flash works.
Get the Zedge app for much better (and louder) ringtones and notification sounds.
Beyond that just enjoy the phone! So many other things are purely personal preference.
How do I silent this thing without it going to vibration
How do I test doze? I guess over night?

Update to the newest version, unlock the bootloader, install twrp, flash pure nexus rom and elemental x kernel! After that you'll be good to go.
Let your battery charge full and post a screen shot of the battery stats page when it gets really low. We'll try and help identify any issues that may causing battery drain.Damn long process lol battery goes down quick with just app switching and messaging
Disagree. A rom is not needed.Update to the newest version, unlock the bootloader, install twrp, flash pure nexus rom and elemental x kernel! After that you'll be good to go.
Yup, just leave your phone on your nightstand over night - if you lose more than about 5%, there's something interfering.
