Just got pixel buds quick question

Not sure if I should post this somewhere else but I'm using them with a Pixel 5 so...

I got them paired and set up. Used Google assistant and listened to Pandora.

However, I don't hear any notifications through them. Is there something else I need to set up for that?

tap and hold until you hear a chime sound. It should read notifications.
