Just got the GSII at my local Sprint Store!!!

Amazon says "BACKORDERED". Was this the case when you ordered?

Yeah, it said backordered, but after i added to my cart and checkout it gave me a delivery date of this upcoming Tuesday... this same thing happened to me when i bought the evo 3d tho, it was backordered and still got it on a tuesday.... so i am in no worries.... its the best deal when it comes to paying full retail whether its 499 from sprint, it still comes out to be like 550 with tax....

I was first in line at a Sprint private store and they told me today that they may not have the phones tomorrow and most likely on Monday. They are offering free screen protectors and 25% off the acessories. My Evo trade in at that store is now worth $85.00 from the $125.00 i was told when i pre ordered on day one.. I said ok, just call me.

Went to the second Sprint store which is a corporate store and i bought the gift card and was told my phone will be available on Friday morning as their shipment will arrive tonight. I mentioned the other store availability and she said it could be true since they are not a corporate store. This store is offering $100.00 for my Evo and my $50.00 gc credit=$150.00. That leaves me with $350.00 for the phone out of contract since i do not qualify for the $199.99 price. May do the $90.00 etf and pay $199.99 price and save money but, lose my number. No biggie to me.

Just picked mine up on the way home....I called and they said they could get in trouble, but they'd sell it to me if I bought an accessory. I needed a headset for my wife, so I bought it and the Epic Touch...It is awesome, super fast, strangely light....I love new phone smell!

Got the call that mine is in at the Sprint Corporate office. The privately owned Sprint store where I am number 1 has not called yet. Probably did not get them.

Is it 4:15pm yet, I need to see my new son.

IMO $85 for trading in EVO is a crime. i'd keep it as a backup device before i gave it away for a mere $85.

I will tell they called me from the Blvd at Capital Centre n said come on over they have the GSII, went straight over, now proud owner of spanking brand GSII Epic Touch right here in MD. likewise trying to learn the features been up half the night whew!! sleepy now

It has sharp edges and feels like it wants to pop off the phone. Im willing to bet the phone would fall out of the case of our was dropped, but it makes out easier to hold the phone in my opinion
