Just got the May security patch...

...on May 24. IIRC, this is the first time in my personal Android history where I've received a patch in it's current month. Are Samsung/Verizon getting better at this, or what?

Samsung has always been fine with the monthly updates on the unlocked S8. I usually get the patch near the end of the month. The only time it didn't get it for me was the month that Oreo came out. They skipped the security update and delivered Oreo a week later.

Unlocked S8+ got may update. On AT&T in SoCal.

Wow, my unlocked s8 went 4 months without a security update when they were working on Android. Really strange that Samsung even have introduced inconsistencies between unlocked models.

Perhaps a national thing...who knows.

I still don't have Mays but normally don't till right at the end of the month.
