Just got the S20 Ultra Camera update for the T-Mobile carrier locked version

I think they will not charge for the first year and then charge a additional fee on top of my data plan... That's what Rogers a competitor is doing now... Their 5G network is live.

Does that mean that your carrier will now start charging more for 5G by giving 5G owners the option to turn it on??

It depends on the carrier and your plan

I got my update this morning as well from Telus. It also asked me if I wanted to turn on 5G but Telus network didn't go live yet with their 5G. I put mine on auto connect
