Got my Sprint S21 Ultra from Best Buy yesterday. Love the phone! It takes some pretty decent photos too. So far I just have a Tech21 case on it.

So did you leave the Note series? Remember seeing your threads in the Note forums

Got mines today as well and loving it!! I instantly put on a whitestone screen protector, dbrand skin, and using an otterbox symmetry case.

My husband waited till I got home from work. He's setting his up now.

If Samsung included a screen protector, they'd be forcing everyone who doesn't want it (because they either want none or want a different kind) to subsidize those who do want it. That's fine if a majority of customers want it, but it's unreasonable (and wasteful) if a majority don't.

Samsung improved almost everything they failed at with the S20 Ultra. And for $200 cheaper with great trade in incentives. That's what I cared about.

Again, people have different needs. I wanted a cheaper device. I have a drawer almost full of charging bricks( although I support giving consumers the option), and I don't use old school SD cards. So this does benefit me, regardless of Samsung's intention. As for Samsung following Apple, it's very true. It's also a tale as old as smartphones.

YMMV...S20 and Note line has everything you need if you want that stuff. And the price has dropped significantly on those devices.. So yes, awesome!
We can go back and forth all day long. I'm just not one to sit back and be happy for getting less. These prices are not that much cheaptto go without IMO, but samsung and apple have been conditioning is so it's no surprise people are good with it.

Not everyone is good with it. But that's the case Every.Single.Year.

No phone is for every person.

Who wants a different power bank. 25 watt power banks are $30 for a samsung one, comparing samsung as that is what we would get with a samsung phone, not a cheapie off Amazon. The majority don't speak on this forum. Never have been forced on screen protectors, the ones that have come on the phones are not screen protectors, just cheap plastic some choose to keep on for awhile.

Good thing we all have a choice!
True, but samsung and apple are taking choices away. It's like the constitution, you let them take one amendment away because it doesn't matter to you, what happens when they take something away that does, same about phone features or add ons IMO.

Just my thoughts, we shouldn't just settle, samsung offering these extras over apple is what set them apart.

Samsung offered all the choice people wanted in 2020, and it didn't work. The price for those "little extras" was just too high.

So they removed things I no longer use. I get people feel entitled to those things, but Samsung wasn't interested in basically re-releasing the same phone they did last year.

In my opinion, Samsung improved the more important things people care about. Price, camera, performance, flat display, improved exynos variant, design. The reviews reflect this.
