Just got the S21 Ultra

Samsung offered all the choice people wanted in 2020, and it didn't work. The price for those "little extras" was just too high.

So they removed things I no longer use. I get people feel entitled to those things, but Samsung wasn't interested in basically re-releasing the same phone they did last year.

In my opinion, Samsung improved the more important things people care about. Price, camera, performance, flat display, improved exynos variant, design. The reviews reflect this.

Reviews are to early to go by, the honeymoon phase is still going strong. Samsung sales aren't declining because of having a SD card or including a power brick. $1,000+ phones are why sales are declining, uncertain times, pandemic. Again, it's a opinion, if you're happy with less, that's great. Just wait till they take something you want, wonder if you will feel entitled then wanting it.

I and lots could care less about the camera, so maybe apple and samsung can take away the camera next.. this is my point, it's great when it's not something you want going away By the way, I really don't care if I have a SD card or not, but I don't care if it's there, it's options for people. Android was all about options one day, reason most are here. I'm not going to call them entitled because they want a SD card and I don't. I didn't see these are flat screens now, good news with that I can stop seeing the whining about curved screens, which I liked, but I'm entitled to want such a thing. I'm finding these phones are getting more and more alike, I can start looking at others, why not. Again, my opinion, I'm not trying to tell you what to think, I feel you are telling me what I should feel, as I'm entitled. Anyway, enough has been said on this, we can go all day as I said earlier. Lets move on

Why is yours running late?

Because I canceled my order the first time because we changed from 256 to 512. Then I accidentally ordered the unlocked instead of the Verizon I canceled again.

But I think it's mainly because they had a hold on my order because we were waiting for a watch trade in to be approved and you can't have three trade-ins at one time in the same household. And they got the watch she tried telling me it takes three to five days to get approved but I got a manager to take the hold off. So even though it was ordered on the 15th there was a hold on my order till the 21st It was dumb. But I'm fine because they gave me an extra $25 an accessory credit. I'll order an extra charger maybe.

My husband said he got his buds today I got this purple silicone case which I don't really care about it. I just ordered it in case the one I wanted wasn't available in time. But he got his black leather Samsung case that he ordered I'm so glad now he has a case. But that's two nights in a row they didn't show up till like 8:00 or later. So I don't expect mine early.

I will! I know I'm going to love it It's just going to be a little bit big for me and I'll have to get used to it. But hopefully I'll have good signal since my S10 had a problem with signal and I never got it fixed like my husband did.

I have a question and I'm just curious cuz I looked at my history and today we got a couple cases and my husband got his buds my violet ones aren't in yet.

But anyway my tracking number for the case I got today says that it got to my facility at 2:46 am and it got on the truck at 10:45 and they didn't even deliver till 8:35 It said by 8:00.

So I just looked up my phone and it says that it got to the facility at 7:30 p.m. so I'm wondering if that means it'll go out earlier and I'll get it earlier hopefully it won't be 8:00 at night and it'll be on one of the first trucks in the morning I don't know. I wonder how they sort their stuff?

You will get used to the size of the phone quite quickly. I had the smaller Note 10 before and after two days with the S21 Ultra it feels a little strange when I take the Note in the hand

My husband put his up to his s10 plus he said it's just taller but pretty much the same width. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

But we watched a you tube video on his and the screen is so nice and the volume was good. He said it's nice and loud and he also loves the buds pro. He doesn't really care for the silver color but he says they sound great.

Coming from a Pixel 4 XL, I really love this phone. Camera is really really good, video is exceptional to say the least and the screen is stellar!! Smooth, fast and responsive.

I just got home and was putting groceries away and the doorbell rings. I was excited so yes it just came. I was hoping it would be here before 8pm so I would have longer to mess with it and set it up. Going to open it now!

Thanks! It's weird mine says cannot activate call customer service, Husbands worked the other night forgot exactly what all he did but he's up and running. Sim card already was in phone we took the one out of old phone and shut it off. I'm on hold with Verizon now.

All set up and running transferring my data now via smart switch wirelessly. Verizon helped me get started I think my phone just needed a reboot than it ended up activating and we see a 5G icon in our house.

Thanks! It's weird mine says cannot activate call customer service, Husbands worked the other night forgot exactly what all he did but he's up and running. Sim card already was in phone we took the one out of old phone and shut it off. I'm on hold with Verizon now.

Did you make sure wifi was on on the phone while trying to activate?
