Just got wifi on my G Watch R...question

Very excited to have wifi on my G Watch R, similar to my Urbane. But there "seems" to be a slight difference in how the watch handles wifi networks. On my Urbane, I never had to enter a password to connect to a network, not even the first time. The watch seemed to recognize whatever network the phone had saved, including the associated passwords. With the new wifi update to my G Watch R, I've had to enter the wifi password to save each new network. Anyone else noticing the same thing? Thanks

Mmmm...that's odd. In theory, Android Wear should take the WiFi network information from your phone... :S

A factory reset seemed to solve the problem. As it often does.

Mine did the same thing. I just assumed the WiFi password for the watch was because it's a different device from my phone and it needs to go through the WiFi steps to connect.

Question, how can i tell if the watch is connecting to wifi or not? I believe i set it up correctly but not sure...

now my watch is doing this again since getting the recent marshmallow update...requiring I provide the wifi password even though the phone is already connected to the wifi
