Hi, I'm pretty new to this and not even sure if I'm posting in the right section...
I bought the nexus 7 for my husbands birthday and all was going well until he tried to use the Google play store app the other day.
He's used it loads since getting the tablet but now it won't even open! It just flashes up on the screen for a second then closed again. It looks like a message pops up at the same time, but its not there long enough to read it. I've checked that the WiFi is working and its all fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

How comfortable are you with computers? An easy way to for sure fix it would be to back up the data you want to keep somewhere else on another tablet or phone or computer or cloud or something. Then do a factory reset then restore what you wish and go from there.

This may however be overkill and not necessary but should work.

One could try to clear the data for the play store app found in

System settings >apps>swipe from right to left to get to all apps screen> click on Google play.

Then sign out of Google wait a little bit then sign in.

Maybe just try signing out and back in first?
