I just get back from selling my Ipad and look online on Best Buy's Website to order my 32gb Galaxy Note and they are SOLD OUT online! Talked to a guy at Best Buy customer service and they don't know when they'll be getting them in. Wish some places would carry the 32gb at the store. I do know they have it at Fry's, but Fry's doesn't have any financing offers available for the Note and I think only a 14 day return policy. I like that I can finance for 18 months with Best Buy (I always pay off as soon as I can) and the 30 day return policy. That's where I got my Galaxy S3.
I looked at Amazon and they have them in stock, plus you can get the Square Trade warranty which is much cheaper and get's better reviews than the one at Best Buy. Has Anyone bought one off of Amazon? I know I'll have to buy some accessories off of there anyways and they do offer 12 month financing on over $599 purchase. I'm excited to get it and don't want to wait, but not sure If better off waiting for Best Buy to get them in Stock or Just Going the Amazon route. Thoughts anyone?

If not Frye's or Amazon, did you try Office Max or Office Depot? If you are wanting to purchase from Best Buy, then bookmark the page and keep checking back. They should re-stock every few days. Due to unrelated delivery issue, I watched the page for nine days but that was checking twice per day. You may get lucky and they re-stock sooner.

sorry.. but as soon as it came available on friday i jumped up and ordered one...

I dont think you can go wrong with getting one from amazon. If its sold by amazon and shipped by amazon them then i dont see any reason for concerns.

but yeah.. im gonna get a square trade warranty as well. It may not be as simple as walking in and handing it to them.. but the plan is cheaper and yes the reviews do seem convincing...

Officemax didn't have any, had only one tablet I saw and no display for the Nexus 7. I checked at Office Depot and they only had the Tab and Tab 2, not the Note. Costco had the Tab and Tab 2 also, but no Note. I'll probably wait a few days and see if Best Buy gets them, otherwise I may make a run to Fry's, but probably would go amazon with the Square Trade Warranty. At least with Amazon, I can order the accessories and the Tablet at the same time. So will be busy seeing what I want to get for the Note. Really not much to choose from or a lot of reviews to look at. I'm kind of Leaning toward the Acase Leather Case on Amazon, mainly because I have an Acase I use on my galaxy S3 and am really happy with it. Also noticed the Poetic Slimbook leather case.

Well, I went to Fry's today and they had 9 Galaxy Notes in stock 32gb ones, which I could have had in my hand, but of course No Accessories (at least any in stock that they sold). They did have the Samsung Book Covers though, but too high priced and not that good from what I read. I went to Best Buy and HHGregg, and Nothing. Even the Belkin Trifold Cover for the Note was out of stock most places. So I just drove home and figured I'd order most of it Online through Amazon. When I got home, picked out the Accessories I liked, then finally the Galaxy Note. I probably could have saved a lot of time just getting the 16gb version, but after the IPad 16gb I had, I know the extra storage space is something I want to have and for 50 bucks more, I'd like to have it. Get this. I asked the guy at Best Buy if he knew when they would be available online, since they were still sold out there. He tells me that when he looks it up, it's not showing anything, which means it's either not going to be carried anymore by the store or they will not make it anymore. Now I got this same exact line from the girl who sold me my White Galaxy S3 phone at my local Best Buy. I wanted the Blue and They only had a few white 32gb left and when she looked up the Blue on her computer, gave me pretty much the same lines. Now I know they still make the 32gb phones and you can get them from Verizon and other places, so don't know what the deal is with Best Buy. Maybe just trying to get me to buy what they have there(16gb),

Anyways, I should get my Note on Wed. I also ordered the 2 year SquareTrade warranty (hope it lives up to the hype), the Moko(TM) Slim Cover Case, Logitech BT Keyboard, and a 3-Pak of MIniGaurd Galaxy Note Screen Protectors. Probably will get the Screen Protectors a couple days later, but excited to get the Note and start playing with it. I can't tell you how hard a time I had finding a case to decide on. That probably is what took me so long to order. I wish they made a TPU cover and something like the Apple Smart Cover for the Galaxy Note. I know the Samsung Book Case is similar, just not sure I want to pay that yet. Rather hear from someone who has it. I did see a TPU case on Ebay, but even though they were cheap, were from Hong Kong and take a long time to get here. Hope more accessories come out soon.

I believe you can buy the square trade warranty no matter where you buy the tab, as long as it's within 30 days.

I just got back from best buy today and they do have the Samsung galaxy note 10.1 in stock on there best buy.com website not the best buy app. But the best buy website. I exchanged my 16gb for the 32gb. And I got express shipping.

Smooches, yep. I just looked at the Website and they do have it in stock! Oh well, my Note already shipped from Amazon and I should be getting it tomorrow. Not a big deal, I had to get the accessories from Amazon anyways. It's cheaper and I couldn't find any accessories in my area that I liked. I really don't think the people at Best Buy have a clue anymore.

Check online at Best Buy now; it is sold out again.

Yeah, I noticed that about a half hour later after I posted here. D***! This thing must be popular!

Evidently not popular enough for Otterbox to release a Defender series case for it. They produced one for the Playbook that I traded in for my Note 10.1.

I hear ya. I hope the Note, becomes popular, just so more accessories for it. I was really disappointed how much s*** there is for the Ipad everywhere, especially Best Buy, but minimal Android accessories section. I'm so glad I got rid of my Ipad, but even my samsung GS3 had minimal accessories at Best Buy. Amazon seems to be the only place with any selection to choose from.

One thing I don't like about the cases for the Note, they are either the Folio that can tilt in front with the ridges or the one that folds into the back to make only two positions either upright or laying flat. I did see the Exact Case On Amazon the rotates either landscape or Portrait view, looks like you can pull it off and attaches with a snap or something. Most others were attached with Velcro. I just like the part where you can take it off the case and it's less bulky to hold in your hand and it's still protected by the inside cover. I would really like to see a back cover made like a TPU case and with the screen protector or something to cover the front. I've never gotten any of the Otterbox cases, just because they look so bulky. My cousin does have the Otterbox Commuter case for his GS3 phone and it looked nice. The Belkin Trifold Case at Best Buy was nice, but they were out of them and it was a bit pricey.

It's not that the Note isn't popular. It's just that you're the only one that wants an OB Defender. LOL! :D

Personally, I want the thinnest, lightest cover I can have that simply covers the front and back. I just want to protect it from dirt and scratches. Protection enough to totally save it if I drop it on concrete would be nice, but not worth the bulk and PITA factor to me (and, I guess, a lot of others).

I had canceled my order for the Samsung Notebook Cover, but I have now re-placed the order. From what I can tell, it is the only case that holds the Note where the case hinge is on the top when you hold it the Note in landscape mode. And, the way the case attaches means I should be able to put it on the charging dock I got without having to take it out of the case.

I got this charging dock and I really like it.

Funny. Whether a smartphone or a tablet protection is the name of the game. I am not comfortable with my Note 10.1 tablet in the Belkin Tri - fold leather case because I know that clips holding in place won't be strong enough when dropped from table height or higher resulting in dings, cracks or worse.

I agree with you. I only want the thinnest and lightest case on the tablet. Ultimately it's a thing of preference so no one opinion is right or wrong for every situation. But for me personally, I don't want to carry a case that happens to have tablet inside. I'd much rather carry a tablet, that happens to have a case on it.

The official Samsung book cover case is the best option for my needs, and until it arrives I am using a thin case I ordered off Ebay.
