Just noticed Now Playing not working

It was. I tried the suggestions : reboot, turn off and on from the sound setting. Nothing. Not working. Was working. Not any more

I had that problem one point ,I had left developer option on , so after closing it and rebooting the phone started working again. I dont know if your issue will be the same .

I had this problem as well. Now playing worked (you could see the music in the 'history' view but the songs would not show in the lock screen). I thought it was because I was running Q. I just turned off Developer options and now it works on the lock screen again. Thanks mustang!

I had that problem one point ,I had left developer option on , so after closing it and rebooting the phone started working again. I dont know if your issue will be the same .

go to settings and type in "Optimize" then click on battery optimization twice then under the drop down make sure it says all apps and find the Pixel Ambient Services app in the list, tap on it and select Don't optimize
