2 HTC 1500mAh batteries and wall charger, saw them a few days ago for $29.99 but didn't pull the trigger. Now seller has them for $49.99. But guess what, the set for the My Touch 4G is still for $29.99. :-) We all know they fit each other, and on his post they list the 3 models of batteries that do. I've read good things about these, and for that price why not try them! I'm liking my Tbolt more every day and I may hold on to that upgrade in June and skip on Bionic.

Tbolt, you can see that someone picked them up for $29.99 in his review.

I got 3 aftermarket 1500mah batteries and a wall charger for $11.00 on ebay from China they work like a charm. They even came in cute little static proof bags to protect the embedded control chip. Yes I said 3 for $11 plus the wall charger. And they hold a charge every bit as long as the HTC OEM battery! :D

I bought the same but they haven't arrived yet. So they are working well for you?

Thanks OP for posting the Amazon deal. If I spent more time away from other power options $30 is a great deal for the charger and 2 1500maH batteries. May pull the trigger on this myself. I have a charger at work, charger in the car, charger at home and 2 laptops with me almost all the time so a quick recharge is never far away. Prying open the case to swap batteries would be more of a hassle day to day but it would definitely be nice to have a spare battery in pocket for the occasional day at the beach or what-have-you.

I've read about these from China too, but I feel better paying an extra $20 for an HTC branded battery than whatever those from China are. Plus the RED is sick! (Favorite color) LOL!

I thought it was too, like I said I did't pull the trigger on the Tbolt ones and I'm sure the seller got smart and raised the price since the Tbolt has the said battery issues. I'm sure he will realize soon that people are ordering the My Touch 4G set instead for use on Tbolt for $20 less?!

Use code OFF10 and get it for $26.99 out the door.
Yeah I saw the even cheaper batteries on Ebay, but I bought from ChiChi(Ebay)/HTCExpress.com for my Incredible and had really good results.

Can you PM me the seller? Thanks! :)

I can't imagine a big difference from the stock battery with these. But if you like them than that's all that matters. I don't trust any off brand accessories or OEM accessories (so called anyways) that are sold by a company that's not well known. If it's shipped by HTC, Newegg, Amazon (not a third party), or another retailer, I'll do it.

For those who have tried these. How much better are they?

1) Assuming this battery is really a 1500 mAh, do you guys realize that the difference in actual power is only about 7%? Anyone who says they see any significant difference between the two is fooling themselves.

2) Are these OEM? I see "HTC" on the batteries but I've seen this a great deal on ebay. The ones I got worked for a few weeks and then puttered out quickly. If it's not OEM and made by some company manufacturing stuff out of China, then let the buyer beware.

Yeah, I was going to do this too, but then I asked about HTCExpress as a seller, and this is what I got:

"Has shady written all over it."
"yeah----i'd stay away from this."

Just recieved my set from ChiChi, I like! As far as the few saying the difference won't be much on 100mAh, I agree there may not be but for the price of an OEM I got 2 batteries and a plug in charger so I won't need to open up Tbolt to charge spare battery. Plus I'm just keeping the 2 1500mAh ones, selling the OEM 1400mAh on CL or to a friend. Should get at least half my $ back, don't need 2 spares with me.

That's until you realize the batteries you purchased become completely useless in a matter of months if not weeks.

That, and I would bet a lot of money that they turn out to be lower capacity than OEM.

The way I see it, this phone's 4G life is already similar to putting a 5 gallon fuel tank on the Space Shuttle. No reason to make it any worse.

And you know this because? Months will work for me, I'll be on the Bionic by then..... want dibs on 3 month old Tbolt with Matte Ghost Armor, 2 HTC 1500mAh batteries and plug in charger? (No need to use phone to charge spare) Sounds better than an ad with one battery doesn't it? :D

How much you got? The one I used this afternoon seems to disagree with you, but I'm sure you know because of experience right?

out of curiousity why are you guys buying these batteries? Is it so cause you can't charge your phone @ some point during the day... car dock, computer with usb etc, or do these batteries have better life than the oem?
