Just Ordered the Bionic this morning

Just ordered, called regular customer service, just asked to upgrade my line and she said what phone, I said Bionic, no problems at all. Ordered screen protectors and case and will be shipped to me overnight. I will have tomorrow

Not sure exactly. I'd imagine they take into account your good (or bad) standing in terms of payments, how long you've been with them, and how far you are in your current contract. Kind of surprising you aren't eligible for an early upgrade if you are one year into your contract which is typically when they offer it. Unless this is your first 2-year with Verizon.

I just got off the phone with *611 and was not able to order the phone. The person I was talking to asked her supervisor to see if there was another way to order it because the system wouldn't let her until tomorrow, but she said that there was no other way she could think of to order it. Oh wells no biggie, I live close to a corporate store, plus I can also check on the costco deal.

Nope....i'm stuck. Cant upgrade at less than retail price. Account in good standing and have been with them for several years.

Yes it is. Just ordered mine, but waited on hold for 10 minutes before I got to a rep.

She had already processed the order by the time I asked about overnight, so I'll get mine Friday. No biggie, at least I know it's on the way.

I am still waiting for an email myself. I have an order number though so we'll see. If nothing comes through tonight, then i guess i'll be at a store tomorrow.

My credit card was charged. No e-mail yet but from past experience, it could take up to several hours before you get it.

Tried 611 again, no luck haha. They are swamped though and I decided to not hassle em anymore. I called my local VZW store - they said they're opening Early, and the phone is on No-Hold. But the rep said they will be getting quite a few and and the only people that know the store is opening early are people like me who've called which didn't sound like a lot. He said just ask for him tomorrow and he'd pull one aside for me immediately. So I guess it's as good as being on hold and I'll have one in my hands tomorrow morning. Woot.

^ Yeah I just realized they did charge my debit card , i'm just a ******. I didn't get an order # so I'll try get through to someone to get my order # although I guess everyone is trying to call right now to order. Hopefully Verizon isn't an ass and stops them from going through.

Order # and Location # received ;-) Customer Service rep said she did not even know she could order it yet. Still had to pay $12.99, she said the discount deal was not available for my location I guess.

Thanks for the tip! Just ordered mine! The CSR I got initially said "Oh, there won't be a SKU in the system for that yet if it doesn't come out until tomorrow, so it can't be ordered." I told her that I know of a bunch of people that have ordered successfully today and that I would just keep calling back until I got someone who would place the order for me. I then asked her if she could at least check in the system to be sure. So, she did (she was very nice), and of course she was like "Oh! I guess I CAN order it for you!" Ha ha. I'll have it tomorrow! So excited!

Final cost was: $299 - $30 NE2 + $14.99 overnight shipping + $35.56 taxes = $320.54
