Walked in the local Best Buy and figured I'd check inventory. They showed no inventory when I checked that store on the website, but they had one so I snagged it.

I won't get a chance to mess with it until late tonight. Does anyone have any advice to ensure a frustration free setup?

Put it on the charger before anything else. The watch will automatically try to update it's software, but if it doesn't have at least 80 percent charge, (which it won't) it won't allow the update to take and can get stuck trying until the battery hits that magic 80%. Avoid the frustration and hassel.

I almost returned mine as defective...even re-boxed it. Leaving it on the charger for two hours did nothing but drain the battery. I gave it another try though and after another two hours on the charger, it seemed to be stuck at 80% and felt very hot. I figured, if the thing melted into a puddle over night, it would make a good visual when I threw it down on the counter at Bet Buy. But by morning, it was fully charged and updated itself. Appears to be working as advertised with occasional stutters. I'm not going to get to worked up over it...it's a cheap toy as far as I'm concerned.

Charged it for about 3 hours while I was out, then I powered it up and everything worked great. Played with it for about 15-20 minutes and the battery was at 85%? I don't know what's up with that. Threw it back on the charger for the night and will play with it more tomorrow.

Joganjani - I like the look of this watch, and don't like the look of the others. That's why I bought this one. Aesthetics, and confidence in Motorola as a company.
